The Cougar Football Club was founded in 2003 by a few parents of the Capital High School football program. It is a private, non-profit, 501 (c) 3 corporation that is not sponsored or funded in any way by Capital High School or the Olympia School District. The goal of the club is to support and sponsor the Capital High School football players, therefore all proceeds go directly to benefit the student athletes. Funding provided by sponsors of and donors to the Cougar Football Club help with items such as pre-game and post-game meals, annual pre-season and post-season team functions, and help offset the costs of the football program and other related expenses.
